Default Problems crossfading multiple regions in Pro Tools 10

Hey All!
Have a little problem that's driving me a bit nuts and cutting into my workflow a bit. I can't seem to crossfade multiple regions at once. When I highlight the sections where I want a fade and press F to fade, it only creates fade ins and outs as opposed to crossfading. When press CTRL F to bring up the fade menu, it does not work either. What am I doing wrong? Pictures for reference attached.

Any help you can provide would be much appreciated!

Are you sure there's enough underlying audio to make the fade? IOW, those clips aren't at the file boundaries are they?

Yes, there is plenty of audio to work with on both sides!

Thanks for responding.

select regions, press cmd-f, uncheck "new fade ins and outs" and adjust all the other settings.

I think you also need to make sure you select more than 2 separations. If you only select 2 it does in/out only in pt10. (I think)

It was solved on gearslutz. https://www.gearslutz.com/board/post...ools-10-a.html

Basically : the WHOLE clip on the left side and the WHOLE clip on the right side need to be selected.
