Default mp3 option?

I have ProTools Express 10.2. I am needing to create clean mp3 files that will be used in any and all mp3 players. I do not have the mp3 option, but need to know if it is worth looking into or if anyone has a clue as to help me with my situation.

I am doing a walking tour and need to have the mp3 player start and stop in the right places and to not jump around. We have put tests down on many mp3 players and they do the same thing - they are not staying in sequence. The mp3 players that have been purchased do not have a screen on the front so it is hard to know where you are. We have taken care of that problem, but.... in the mean time = I have to get this done and working. Anyone out there able to help me?

Question Re: mp3 option?

Welcome to the community!

MP3 Option doesn't work with Pro Tools Express (see the System Requirements tab of the MP3 Option store page). You could bounce/export your file(s) to WAV and use iTunes or other app to convert to MP3.

Not sure why your MP3 player is jumping around unless it has a shuffle or random mode - can you switch that off?

What about creating one file (instead of multiple files) which you would then just pause and play as needed?
