Would help to know what version of PT your using, but it is referred to as recycle. The reason I chose that is that I send them to the recycle bin instead of a complete delete. Did this as a safety net. But your PT-Dae Prefs as well as the databases are what you want to recycle to clean it up.

I followed original instructions of c; drive/ program files/ common files/ digidesign/ DAE. I understand the recycling put scared to pull the trigger. DL'd Trasher, where am I putting this?
Edit. OK past this step, In the duc under protools 10 (windows) I found some clearer instructions in the sticky at the top. I also have been continuing this thread over there, just thought I would bump this so helpful people have a background on what it may be that I'm having trouble with. Thx you in advance for the help.

Will attempt to answer your question the best I can.
The downloaded Trasher folder needs to be placed in your documents folder.
When you press the recycle button, it will place the files in your recycle bin so they can be restored if needed. The exe can be placed on the deaktop or pinned to the taskbar as long as the folder stays in your documents folder. There is a starter read me doc inside the folder then a full instruction set is accessible when the exe is launched

Hello, Sorry I missed your post. Yes Trasher has been updated for PT12 back in March.

Here is a link to the homepage for it.
