Default USD setup compatibility with PT 4.2.1 NT

When approx. do you think the USD setup will be implemented inside PT 4.2.1 NT software?
Thanks for the update!

I don't have a date on that yet. What specific function were you needing the USD setup app for? Most of the USD parameter are set-up by Pro Tools for you.

Ok.
Well, I have no specific functions in mind just that if I actually get the USD interface and connect it to the serial port of my d24 card and then launch PT4.2.1 NT, will it recognize the USD and will I be able to use all the sync features of it without any compatibilities issues?
Thanks again for the cues.

You should be able to perform all the sync features of the USD from PT with a few exceptions and most of those are available from the USD front pannel.
