Obviously people over simplifying and dismissing the features of S1 V3 haven't actually tried using it...

Default Studio One V3 - looks like an awesome update

One thing that should be considered as the most important thing is...

The obvious desire/purpose of the company to make a product that they truly want the user to enjoy.
They "want" to add features that you want/need.

They want to and are open to listening to a customer...

True many will not find a place for this product, but if they continue to bring features and updates that the customer wants this can't help but be a great product (both today and in future releases)

Yeah, some folks have a hard time dealing with people that don't share their enthusiasm for certain products.

I agree about fixing errors/bugs, and adding new features all should be a priority. But if you don't like the rental system, then don't rent! You can still buy a perpetual license. For some it might make sense, and having more options isn't a bad thing.
