Multiple interfaces on a Mac
Hi,
I have a 002R to work in Pro Tools. I also need to run Cubase SX and some other applications as well that I wish to record through a MOTU 896 HD. My question is if I can have both interfaces connected and powered up to my 2.7 G5 at the same time. I understand that PT will only work with the 002R, but my hope is that if I need to launch Cubase, I can do it and choose the 896 as the audio interface. I would never use both at the same time like an aggregate device, but would use different interfaces for different applications. I am hoping it is as simple as it sounds and both can coexist together on the same computer. Is this possible and will it interfere with the stability of the software?

Re: Multiple interfaces on a Mac
Apples 'n' oranges. Yes, possible. No, won't have any negative effect on PT/SX stability. Go for it.
