Default PT 12 digi 192 interface

hi fellas

I'm using PT 12 native windows with a projectmix as interface controler and since de digidesing 192 interface is kind of afordable,i'm planing to buy one.
Before,i would like to know about the compatibility of PT12 with digi 192.Or for example, digi 192 is for PT HD use only etc.
Anybody familiar with that?
Thanx in advance!

This. To use a 192 with Pro Tools, you need HD hardware (HDN or HDX) an HD iLok asset, and a Digilink I/O asset.

You can use Digilink hardware using a DiGiGrid DLI or DLS with PT Native.

RME and UA Apollo would be tops on my list. If you want to track with UAD plugins, the Apollo is the only choice(but a darn good one). The plugins are excellent and work fine with their cards, but without Apollo, the latency kills them for tracking.

Gotta say, the new Lynx Aurora(n) are pretty intriguing. Also, if you want networking capability, the Merging interfaces are excellent. With no info about exactly what your needs are, and what your system is, it's pretty hard to offer any decent advice.

And you'd whole heartedly recommend that as a solution? Can't say I would given the history.

What has been your experience?

I haven't used the DLI/DLS, but I'm using other DiGiGrid hardware with excellent results.
