Just wondering if the new Fast Track Ultra 8R is compatible and works with Pro Tools M-Powered 8. I'm currently running M-Powered 7.4 with a FireWire 410. Also, will this new setup work on a Macbook (2GHZ Core 2 Duo, 2 GB RAM) with Leopard 10.5.4?

It's certainly supported(PT M-Powered, 7.4 cs3 or higher as well as Pro Tools 8).

I found the following issues in the support section with the Fast Track Ultra series and Pro Tools:

Known Issue: Playback Stops With -6101 Error in Higher Sampling Rates With a Buffer Size of 128
Workaround:

Change buffer setting to 256 or higher.

Known issue: Audio Playback is Muted When a Click Track is Present With No Audio
Workaround:

Open the Fast Track Ultra control panel
Slightly turn up the monitor faders for an unused analog input pair on the associated monitor tab

This should release the "mute" bug and allow normal use of the Fast Track Ultra with Pro Tools M-Powered.
