Default How to Send MIDI Program Change from PT to GigRig-G2

I'm experimenting with a piece of music where I'd like Pro Tools to trigger a program change on my GigRig G2 in my pedalboard at a certain point, switching the pedals chain, all toward fully automating the performance. I'm having trouble finding any clear information on just how this would be done, though. I'm assuming it would begin with a MIDI track with a MIDI note of a specific value at the proper place in the timeline, but can't quite put the whole scenario together.

If anyone has any experience with this to share, or can point me in the direction of good documentation, I'd hugely appreciate it.

Thanks.

I don't know exactly for your situation, but I would start with setting the MIDI output channel in the Instruments settings on the MIDI/Instrument track and set it to the correct MIDI output port.

Open the Event List for your MIDI track and insert a Program Change.
