PT 12.5 Upgrade from 12.4 and the Cloud Collaboration

I have PT 12.4 and I'm interested in upgrading to 12.5, but i can't find out how much it costs. Also, has anyone tried the Cloud Collaboration option yet? What exactly is it? Does it allow you to record in the same session with some else that has 12.5 over the internet, in real time?

If you're not already on an Upgrade Plan, then you will have to get the Upgrade Reinstatement plan: https://shop.avid.com/ccrz__ProductD...08&&store=shop (perpetual license, never stops working), or you could do monthly or yearly subscription (stops working when you stop paying).

The Collaboration is not real time, but near real time. Best to watch the videos to see how it works. Note that both parties have to have at least PT 12.5.

Seriously?! My Upgrade plan ran out a couple months ago. You can't buy the upgrades on a per upgrade basis anymore? That sucks! The monthly one seems ridiculous cuz you're paying $100 for most likely one upgrade. Looks like I'm stuck w/ 12.4.

That is the basics of the Upgrade plan. On the plus side, if Avid release PT 13, and or 14 while you're on an upgrade plan, you get it free.
