YamahaCRW4260/PT-24/MLCD2.0?
I own PT-24 with 888/24 interface, with Power Tower Pro 200. What is the current version of MLCD? Is it completely compatible with my system right now? Should I be using MLCD for making audio CDs and Toast for backing up PT -24 sessions and files? Is Toast the best product for backing up normal Mac files? If I am just finishing a quick mix down for an impatient client and they want a CD to take home, how much time will I need? What basic steps are involved assuming I have a 24 bit session with sixteen tracks.

Re: YamahaCRW4260/PT-24/MLCD2.0?
MLCD 1.4 and 2.0 use the same supported CDR list. If the CDR is not on the supported list, it is definitely not compatible.
You can find a list of supported CPU's here. The Yamaha 4260 is not currently compatible. -tm- |

Re: YamahaCRW4260/PT-24/MLCD2.0?
I back up all my PT sessions using toast and it works beautifully, with my 12X speed CD ROM which can in an emergency supply the data fast enough to re-work a stereo mastering without having to load the session onto HD saving loads of time, and also running of radio promos to CD(I've even written MLCD sessions at 2X direct from CD ROM). Also backups are perfotmed at 4X speed. Lovely!!!
