PT10/iMac Thunderbolt/Intensity Extreme

Hi all,

I may have to ditch my Canopus 110 firewire video playback, as my iMac may have died. Is anyone using the Blackmagic Intensity Extreme firebolt with success?

Since this is a home editing setup, I really don't need a Mac pro; my iMac has been serving me just fine for the last three years. I'd rather stay with an iMac, but alas no more Firewire 400. (besides, I'm tired of converting to .dv anyway)
