Roll back for 003 or upgrade to S1
I just upgraded my RAM in my iMac 2017. Thought i should upgrade PT version then also OSX to Catalina. Long story short, 003 stopped working, rolled back to Mojave and now can’t for the life of me get my 003 working again.
Looking at a new controller figuring 13 years with the 003 was a good run - even though it still worked. Wondering if anyone else has experienced similar thing and if they have managed to get the 003 working again? If not, looking at the S1 which looks pretty amazing but got no I/Os so wondering what setups people, what audio interface you’ve used with the S1? Looking for suggestions.. I need a couple of mic inputs, midi, a couple of lines and outputs for my monitors. Cheers |

Re: Roll back for 003 or upgrade to S1
I don't think you'll regret the upgrade to the S1. Get yourself a decent tablet to really unlock the power of it. Avid have really done a great job bringing S6 workflow down to an affordable price.
Only bad thing, you may want a second S1, and a Dock. If I were in your situation looking for something to replace the audio portion of the 003, I would get an Apollo. |
