For example i use Control + Show ALL all the time, is there a way to create a one button macro for this commands ? Thanks |

Memory Locations allow you to store show/hide states.

Re: Show only tracks in group shortcuts/Macro ?
Yes, but you have to constantly update your "All Tracks" memory location as you add tracks to the session - there's nothing that automatically includes them.
I haven't tried creating a Keyboard Maestro command that could access the mini-menu in the tracks bin, but perhaps it's possible - I'll have to try it next time I'm in front of my rig.

Re: Show only tracks in group shortcuts/Macro ?
As Rich already mentioned, memory locations are useful as long as what you're recalling is static. In my orchestral workflow, my main group (Group a) is constantly changing so this won't work.
I want to create a macro/shortcut that will give my the following result: Control + Mouse Click on group a. |

I feel your pain. Don't think there's a way around this unfortunately.

Re: Show only tracks in group shortcuts/Macro ?
It seems crazy to me they would make shortcuts for this? This is one of the only major DAWs not to let you program your own.
I am trying to come back to pro tools after using other DAWs for a number of years....if i could find a way of implementing this it would be a real help!! I agree - memory locations are cool if you are wanting to show tracks that dont change..but this way would be more elegant and useful |
