Is my g5 obsolete?
SYSTEM:
I have 3GB installed. I'd like to have more, but for some crazy reason, DDR costs more than DDR2. I found this kit on eBay, but is it worth it to max my ram?

Re: Is my g5 obsolete?
I would not say it is obsolete as it is still working and supported. New hardware is always coming out and the previous generation is still very usable. At some point it will become obsolete but that is when it can no longer run something you need it to.
