Default C8 Fader Bug (NOT the jittery problem...)

Can someone please confirm whether or not this is a C8 bug...

Start and stop playback while adjusting a track's volume via the C8 faders. Pro Tools stops responding to the C8 and the track sticks in one volume position until you lift you finger off the fader and re-initiate movement. Is this a bug or a feature?

Any help is grealy appreciated
