Can you save FX chains?
In PT. I do not see any instruction in the manual.
Edit- looks like a session template as a track is the best option. Thanks Last edited by Samscasa; 05-12-2012 at 07:26 PM. Reason: Found an answer |

Re: Can you save FX chains?
Sadly, the answer to chains is a no(but its a feature request that many have put forth). Template sessions are an excellent tool and I highly recommend building a few. Then there is another little trick to help. Create a custom tracks session with some tracks all populated with your favorite chains of plugins(with settings) in place. Then, you can use the Import Session Data feature and just bring in a track at any time. Even if its to place beside an existing track, then drag the audio from one track to another. That trick is something I use with the DB-33 plugin because my VOCE drawbar(midi hardware) works great, once all the functions are mapped(learned by midi). If I add DB-33 to a blank instrument track, none of the mapping will work(have to re-learn every function again) but if I import a track with DB-33 all mapped, it works a treat.
