Default moving midi notes

Just want to say sorry before I ask this really basic question.

I have imported my midi data but it has ended up on the wrong note how do I move the data to the note above in Cubase I would just highlight it and move it up one not but I can’t seem to find the control to do it

Why is the Midi in Pro tools hard to use (maybe its not) could someone be kind enough to give me a few pointers.

Thanks

Instead of viewing NOTES in the midi track, switch to REGIONS view in the track. From there, you can highlight what notes you want to move over and then drag and drop.

PS... I think its called REGIONS, maybe BLOCKS.

or you can shift click on the piano roll of the "offending" notes, which selects all the notes on that line and then you can drag them up or down to where it should be.

There is a few ways to do this, the easiest being to put the cursor on the track (in notes view) hit CNTRL + A and then select the grabber and just move the midi info to the correct posistion, or you can choose to transpose it to the correct spot as well, if you keep it in grid mode it should be very simple.
