Transpose Shortcut Broken in 2018.7

Anyone else getting this bug on PC?

Shift + Arrow Up is not working for me, however Shift + Arrow Down still transposes down.

Just want to check here before I submit bug report. (Tried search already)

Windows 10
PT 2018.7
32 gb ram
Core i7

actually scratch that-- a whole MESS of transpose bugs

sometimes Shift + Arrow Up works, but it goes two octaves instead of one and doesn't take all notes with it... even the Transpose dialog box has this issue (when set to one it transposes two octaves)

Someone please let me know if you can replicate this issue!

Just tried to replicate on mac and can't, you might have to try the delete preferences thing first??

i actually did submit a bug report anyway out of impatience haha

This happened to me, ctrl+up would transpose 6ths and other nonsense like that.
What TNM said, trashing prefs and the usual fixed it.

ok i will try your guys' solution.

i've actually never had to do this before though I've seen it mentioned... what will it get rid of, i.e., what will I have to set up all over if anything? just so I know if it's worth doing right while i'm in the middle of a project or better to just put up with it for the next 24-36 hours.

Get guitardom's Trasher. Close PT, then using Trasher, backup Preferences, Delete Preferences and Databases, close Trasher, then empty the Recycle Bin, reboot, restore Preferences with Trasher and open PT. First thing I do anytime PT starts to act up. Pete Gates has a similar app for Mac.

ok well actually when i restarted my computer this morning the problem went away.

i wrote my explanation about the bug in the youtube video description but basically the solution is either use shift and up/down arrow keys to transpose and don't open the transpose dialog OR use the transpose dialog exclusively and no arrow keys. if you try to go back and forth between the two different ways to transpose, you will have trouble.
