Re: Video Converter
It depends on what kind of graphic card you have and whether the "cheap tv" has a standard svideo input.
This is one possibility: http://store.apple.com/us/product/M9267G/A Others can be googled of course |

thats what i have, 2 dvi ports and 1 s-video port. but both dvi ports are in use with my dual monitor setup. isnt there anything usb related that can send the picture out to rca or coaxial connections? |

Re: Video Converter
wow that sucks, so it seems like there isnt anything simple to hook up to my pc that isnt expensive and that will let me use dual monitors.
tv's and computers have existed for a long time, too bad its still so difficult to integrate them together. |

Re: Video Converter
Aside from the suggestions posted so far, some of your other options would be to add a second Apple DVI card into your computer. You could add a deck link card into your computer. You could try using the Matrox Triple-Head-To-Go box which takes your two DVI ports and tells the computer that they are three. I don't know how well it works, but it might do what you need it to.
Also, what kind of connections are you planning on running to the TV monitor? DVI? VGA? Composite? Randall |
