Default Audiomedia III and PCI Matchmaker

After change PCI Matchmaker chip I have "cracling " noise on the left channel of AMIII -just like before. Could you tell me some advices? I'm using PT LE 5.01 and SF4.0. Thank you!

I assume you use the driver came with the 5.0.1 CD.

1) Upgrade to 5.1 for truly improved stability.

2) The solution for this old problem was the Wavedriver 1.6cs2 (You have the non cs2) , not cs6 just cs2. Download it.
Uninstall the first driver as mentioned on the readme. reinstall this version.
That solves the crackling and pops on left channel.
