Default HDX on 10.6.8

I know it says Lion is required, but has anyone tried running it on 10.6.8? I have a few apps I can't mix without (Kensington Mouseworks, Quickeys) which won't work in Lion anymore. Also, does it require Lion to run in 64Bit mode or can I boot in 32Bit mode?

I have tried, it works but - lot's of DAE errors, instability etc. Good for experiments, not for real usage...

Thanks! Are you referring to 10.6.8 or to Lion in 32 Bit mode?

Hi,

I have ProTools HDX and 10.1.3 installed on 2 hard drives on one of my MacPro's and one is 10.7.3 , the other 10.6.8.
Last week ,the Mac booted on the 10.6.8 and I was very surprised but ProTools was running fine.

I'm testing intensively since, mixing up to 130 & more tracks, lot of DSP & native plugs, nothing wrong for the moment.
Works identically on 10.6.8 and 10.7.3.
