E-mu MK-6 or other E-mu Keyboards
Has anybody used any of this series of keyboards? MK-6, PK-6, etc. They seem to be reasonably priced, but I was curious how they compare to the rackable version and if it is more sensible to invest in a Mo' Phatt interface as opposed to the keyboard.

Re: E-mu MK-6 or other E-mu Keyboards
I tried them when they were first released and quite frankly, I though they all sucked. The sounds were awful, the action felt weird, just flimsy and lackluster all around. Of course, it's all very subjective. If you like the sounds than you'll be in fine company.
I prefer Roland for hardware, and I most certainly prefer Reason w/ some good sampled instruments over these EMU synths.
