Trootrace

So we received our 2.8.1 disks today (looks really cool, can't wait to get out on a show with it). I noticed while installing the Venuepack 3.1 disk that there is no longer trootrace on it. Is there a reason for this? should i stay away from taking it off of the 3.0 disk?

It is my understanding that trootrace is no longer being supported by the manufacturer and as such avid has dropped it from the venupack...

Feel free to correct me though if this info is wrong

It's true that it was not included in the new VenuePack, but if the plug-in was authorized on your i-lok from the original Venuepack, then you can still install and use it on the new software. Cant really afford Smaart right now, and it is a very nice program, there's no reason not to use it.
