Re: New / Duplicate Playlist Shortcut NEEDED
you can build a quickey-set for new/duplicate-, select next/previous playlist which is working fine and fast, even for more than one selected track
it depends on some settings and a fixed screen-set and works via the 'e'-command. this makes it possible that there´s a defined location for starting a mouse-recording combined with some keystrokes if there´s interest I can give further information or send my quickeys

Re: New / Duplicate Playlist Shortcut NEEDED
No, I can't put quickkeys on 12 machines here and beyond everywhere I work.
One of the great things about PT is that I can get off a plane, get in a cab, show up to a studio, and work without a lot of fuss because the key commands globally match. I could spend days messing around with QK but then there's teaching everyone else and I shouldn't have to spend $80 or whatever QK is costing for a couple of key commands Digi should have had sorted out five years ago.

Re: New / Duplicate Playlist Shortcut NEEDED
I think Sean's point is he doesn't want to have to use a mouse at all to do something as basic and fundamental as creating or duplicating playlists. I know I don't.

There is zero argument to be made. Digi has needed to implement this for 10 years. Guess what? No one is buying an Icon just for this shortcut. |

Re: New / Duplicate Playlist Shortcut NEEDED
Anybody know if there's a way to do it on a C24? I use duplicate take constantly for vocal sessions.

Re: New / Duplicate Playlist Shortcut NEEDED
As far as I can tell, right click only gets you to Duplicate Tracks not Duplicate Playlists. Duplicate Playlists still requires clicking on the little pull-down menu to the right of the track name.

Re: New / Duplicate Playlist Shortcut NEEDED
Not only new/duplicate playlist commands are important.
Cycle through all playlists (+/-) is even more important for me…

+1!
Digi, If anyone has a reason to buy an Icon, I'm shure, a playlist shortcut isn't it.
