Can not hear playback vocal test using Digi 002 input 5

Hello

I conected a 1/4 mic into Analog Input 5 to see if I can get a single and get a recording. I get the single and the recording, but when I playback the recording, I do not hear nothing through my headphone. Please tell me what you think I am doing wrong?

Track Configuration
Analog 5 (Mono)
Analog 5-6 Stero I also tried Anlog 5 (Mono)


Minc Inputs 1-4 placy back ok.

Are you sure you have the track's audio outputs set to the main outputs? Is the track still record armed when you listen back? If so, are you in Input only monitoring mode?


Also, just a cautionary note: most microphones, even those with 1/4" connectors are going to need a preamp, and most microphones that only have 1/4" connectors are not of a high quality. Inputs 5-8 are line inputs only and do not have preamps.

I went to I/O setup and correct me if I am wrong the track's audio outputs are set to the main outputs.

The Track record is not armed when I listen back

I understand 5-8 are line inputs only and do not have preamps, I thought I could make sure I am able to record to Input 5. Tomorrow in Church i will use the Digital Out Line from Channel 5 to the Digi 002 Input 5 to record audio. Do you have another sugestion of what I can use to record and hear playback through input 5 for the time being?

I checked again and set the audio output to Analog 1-2 and everything is good. Thank you for your direction.
