Can 18 Bit Audio Tracks Be Imported Into LE?
I have some old recordings that predate my entry into PT. If I have sessions that were recorded in Cakewalk at 18 bit and I export the wave files, is it possible to import and convert those wave files to 24 bit when I bring them into PT LE?
PT LE 5.1 AMIII Win98SE PIII 450 128 Meg Ram Thanks, bilco |

Re: Can 18 Bit Audio Tracks Be Imported Into LE?
You can import them as 24 bit files, but they will still have 18 bit resolution. The last 6 bits will be "cut off" from the 24 bit file. You can either re-record the tracks at 24 bits or use them as is. Depending on the source material, you probably won't tell a difference. Especially if you can't recreate the source and have no choice
