Default Mbox2 Micro without a light...

My Mbox2 micro died on me over night.

I tried multiple mac's wit osx 10.6.8, 10.7, 10.8 and protools 7.4 - 8.4 but nothing seems to work.

Also tried installing a the latest firmware but it says it's got the latest. And plugged it into a dozen different usb ports.

The light on the unit just doesn't want to come on.

In the system prefs it says "unable to connect to mbox2" but strangely enough it is listed in the system profiler in the USB tree.

Mbox 2 :

Product ID: 0x3000
Vendor ID: 0x0dba
Version: 1.43
Serial Number: Mbox 2
Speed: Up to 12 Mb/sec
Manufacturer: Digidesign
Location ID: 0x3d100000 / 2
Current Available (mA): 500
Current Required (mA): 500

Anyone any thoughts? Perhaps a way to force reinstall the firmware or something?

Cheers,
Karel.
