Pro Tools Crashes on Startup - Help!
Hey guys,
If someone could help me with this before I go on a murderous rampage and break everything in my house, I'd really appreciate it. I *finally* got my malfunctioning-since-I-got-it PowerBook replaced at the Apple store by a brand new MacBook Pro. Now, Pro Tools LE won't run on it. Not only that, but every time I even attempt to run it, I get the really frightening "You need to restart your computer" crash message. I've tried reinstalling everything, updating OS X, and downloading Pro Tools 7.1, but it still seems to hate me. Am I missing something idiotically basic, like a compatibility issue? I'm running Mac OS X 10.4.5. Any information/help would be greatly appreciated. joyce |

Quote:
ProTools doesn't run on Intel-chip Macs yet. There should be a Universal version ready in a week or so, until then you can't run PTLE on that computer unless you want to install WinXP on it. |
