Default accessing old version PT9

gday
I got a new macbook a while ago and upgraded to PT12 perpetual license
I found that all my old projects had missing links and wouldn't open as they were

I have gone back to my old mac now and find that the iLok won't open the PT9 on that macbook

any ideas of my best way forward from here, as I am trying to open the old files on the old mac to save session copy in and transfer to the new mac and hopefully be able to open the songs as they were

You surrendered the Pro Tools 9 license when you upgraded.

If you really need to run an old version of Pro Tools you may have a Pro Tools 10 license still in your license bundle.

But basically you need to work out where the missing media is. Most likely that content was never in the session folders where it should normally be and you simply moved those folders but not the content. You don’t *have* to go back and Save Copy In.... the Pro Tools Project Browser in Pro Tools 12 will help you find and relink stuff. Read the Pro Tools Reference Guide if all that is new to you.

One more idea...is it possible the old sessions were done in SD II file format? If so, open in PT9 or 10>then resave(save session copy) and convert to wave

I had to rearrange where all the files ended up on the new mac, so I've got it sorted now
