editing question
upgraded to 2020, mainly just to keep up with things, i was perfectly happy in 2018.
When manually editing clips, PT used to show me a shadow of a clip I was sliding over behind the clip I was moving by mouse. This made lining up waveforms very convenient. In 2020, it seems this featre is changed. I can get it to display the "background" waveform sometimes, by dragging the edge of the waveform to lengthen or shorten it, then dragging it back, but this doesn't seem to work 100% of the time. Is there a setting that could have been changed in the update or is this just how 2020 behaves? Thanks! G |

Re: editing question
Look in the Reference Manual for Overlap Shadows and Transparent Clip Overlays.
