Default copy midi note from track a to track b without del

How to copy midi notes from track A to track B without deleting notes on track B ?

Hi

i've imported a midi file that contain two midi tracks.
Now in my PT session i 've two midi tracks : SnareMid and KickMid
I would like to have at final only one track that contain the SnareMid notes on C1 and the KickMid notes on C0.
How can i do ?

I tried to select only the midi notes of the kick on KickMid track (ctrl-shift+click keyboard C0), and then to copy them in the other track, but unfortunately it deletes the note on SnareMid track

Plz help, i'm getting mad

Aren't you better to leave kick 'n snare on separate midi tracks - I find it can make arrangement stuff easier. The CPU hit from 2 midi tracks vs 1 midi track would be minimal and copy/paste etc editing of two tracks is about as easy as for 1 track.

Just my 2 cents

Cheers, Scott

All you need to do is use merge paste! Place your cursuror where you want your notes to go and then use alt+m or from your edit menue select merge paste! I do it all the time to consolidate my drum files to save room after I've finished editing them.
