Default Hardware buffer size

Why does my hardware buffer size only goes up to 1024, shouldent it goe to 2048.

Got pt 7.1 with - MPT - PC AMD dual core - 2 GB ram.

1024 is all I have. With a dual core machine, you should note need that much buffer. Too much buffer CAN cause digital jitter too so re-evaluate what your needs are.
