Choosing the right tablet for S1

I have a Fire HD 10 on my S1 has a meter bridge... Works and looks great ..

there is a little lag with the meters response, not sure if its the FIREHD or ECon

Plan on getting another FireHd to run Control App.

I'm in a similar boat... Galaxy Tab S5e.
Timecode display & rest of the UI is running at full fps but the meters seem to be refreshing at a lowly 10-20fps.


Not sure if it's the tablet or something else in the setup.

Can you run that Fire HD wired with ethernet cable like iPad? The refresh could be better with the cable.

Equally choppy here on both wifi & ethernet with this adapter
