Question 2 Problems: PT not recognizing plug-in and CPU not recognizing external hard drives

I'm using Pro Tools M-Powered 7.3.1.cs7, and I recently moved all of my sessions from my LaCie external hard drives (which I had a few issues with) to a new Glyph GT 050Q 500 GB external hard drive (my Y: drive). I also have another Glyph for backing up these files (which I haven't yet done). After I transfered all of my files to the Y: drive, my plug-in Ethno Instrument (MOTU) was automatically made inactive. When I tried to make it active, I got the following error message: "The plug-in could not be made active because the plug-in is not present in the plug-ins folder."

I went to the location C:\Program Files\Common Files\Digidesign\DAE\Plug-Ins and found the following Ethno Instrument files: Ethno.dll, MOTU Ethno Instrument.dll, and MOTU Ethno Instrument.dpm. I did notice that there were several .dpm.rsr files for other plug-in but not for Ethno Instrument. I looked for a .dpm.rsr file for Ethno Instrument but could not find one.

I uninstalled and reinstalled Ethno Instrument. Now Pro Tools does not recognize it as an available plug-in when I try to insert one.

I've followed all of the steps at the General Troubleshooting: Pro Tools M-Powered Systems on Windows (XP & Vista) link (the only step I wasn't able to complete was updating my PACE drivers. I received a strange error message, so I couldn't install them).

Regarding the two new Glyph hard drives (connected via Firewire 400), my computer seems to recognize them sometimes but not always; it seems random. For instance, when I shut down and then restart, it tends to recognize them, but when I simply restart, it does not. As you'll see in my below Sandra info, I have Digidesign-approved PCI cards.

I would appreciate any help that you can offer regarding these two issues.
