PT 12.3 Crash on exit 9/10

Ever since installing the latest version 12.3 from 12.2 I am experiencing crash on exit on average 9 times out of 10, the session is not a heavy one either.

Win 10 64 bit (latest update), 32gb of ram, i7 4790k, titan x sli

I have the same problem with PT 12.3 and I run on Win8.1 64 bit

That's interesting, so it could be a known problem across the board for some windows users...

To make sure we understand exactly what you're reporting.. Does the crash occur when quitting Pro Tools, when closing a session, or when qutting Pro Tools while in a session. If the last one, does Pro Tools crash if you close the session first and then quit. And in any case, are you guys getting the crash report dialog and submitting crashlogs?

It occurs while quitting pro tools when closing a session, its no longer a safe option to save on close lol. As for crash logs where are they stored? your welcome to them, only thing I get is a text box pop up to send the report to avid etc.

In my case it does not matter if I quit Pro Tools while in a session or after closing the session. Pro Tools do not respond to the quitting action. The only crash dialog I get is this one, I cant submit anything:

Hi all, I reported this since the first time i installed pro tools last june,since it was a windows problem and not many people have this problem i just lived with it.
It is still like this, it was always like this for me ,first i save then ctrl alt del to close pro tools,i`m used to it now.
I wish it could be solved though.Thanks

Of course, Win 10 is not supported, and highly advised against for the moment. Wondering if that has anything to do with it?

I had to go back to Win8.1 Pro because my audio interface didn´t work on Win10. The problem has nothing to do with Win10. It also occurs at my Win8.1 Pro System.
