Default Ilok? Im almost afraid to ask

so guys I'm having a problem with my ilok. i had protools 10 installed with no virtual instruments...then decided i needed them to i took out my trustee protools 10 install disk to install the virtual instruments alone...so when i finised i tried to launch protools to get to work and suddenly? not detected my ilok ? now i tried updating all drivers , re installing protools 10 again nothing seem sot work? (btw this is an ilok 2)

I'm on lion 10.7.4 , protools 10.0.2 2.5 ghz intel core i5 ....

I'm starting to lose it I've read on other forums of people having this problem on windows and having some sort of install to fix this but have not come across for a solution for osx? has any solved this at all? i just want peoples opinions before i pay for another ilok and get my license transferred which is going to be a pane sense i can't do it for free sense my ilok won't even read on the ilok website ......so id have to make a new account and transfer my licence once i submit troubleshoot request or what ever it is directly threw ilok

Try Chrome. Both Safari and FF have been having problems with a lot of auth sites lately.

Firefox 14.0.1 works fine with the iLok site, but you must reboot your Mac in 32bit mode (asked by the site).

edit : > Anyway, working too in 64bit mode (tested now).

Whoa, no. The browser isn't asking you to switch your OS to 32 bit. The message comes up in Windows, too. It's just asking to restart the browser.

Sorry, on Mac working perfectly in 64bit mode
(and, yes, the site ask to reboot the browser... in 32bit mode)

edit : re-tested now in 32 & 64bit; it works for me

Have you tried reinstalling the iLok drivers? Download both here: http://ilok.com/download-ilok-software.html
