Default converting a mono track to stereo

Can anyone tell me how to convert a mono audio track already recorded into a stereo tracks .

you cant get a true stereo track from a mono track, but...you can try to simulate a stereo track by copying the mono track to another mono track and panning one hard left and one hard right.

then you could buss that to a stereo aux, put rverb or something on it and pan that sort of offset form the way you have your track panned - seems to add a little realism - though still not true stereo.

3rd choice-put a mono in/stereo out plugin on it. If its a guitar track, try panning it off to one side and send to a mono verb panned to the other side. Gives it a cool 70's air.

You can copy your original track to a new track, and then nudge it a few samples.Pan them L/R.That gives a cool effect.Then you can EQ and effect each track differently.Then you can group the 2 tracks so the faders move together if you want.
