Organizing UAD plug-ins
I'm running ProTools 7.4.2 LE under Leopard and have a UAD card. I only have a small handful of UAD plug-ins authorized, but I have the entire UAD line listed when I go to add a plug-in on a track. Is there a way to just have the UAD plug-ins that I have authorized to appear on the list? Is there a way to have the UAD plug-ins appear in a category other than "wrapped", ie, have the UAD Plate Reverb appear under "reverbs"? Thanks!

Re: Organizing UAD plug-ins
You would have to remove the plug-ins that you do not own and re-wrap them.
Unfortunately with wrapped plug-ins, they do not have a mechanism for proper sorting. |

Re: Organizing UAD plug-ins
Assuming that you're using the UAD's custom RTAS wrapper, just remove the unwanted plugins from the Pro Tools plugins folder.
Otherwise, if you're using FXpansion's wrapper, open the wrapper app and change the ones you don't want from wrapped=yes to wrapped=no. |
