Default Venue external control protocol

Hey guys, I have a Venue Profile and need to control it remotely. I have read the ECx guide and have found the only method discussed there is a VNC server/client approach. This approach is too inflexible for my needs, I work in a two-man team, one FOH tech and one stage tech, and the VNC approach forces my partner and I to take turns tuning channels. I haven't found any other software approach for controlling the mixer remotely, which brings me to my question. Is there an external control protocol that is available for the Venue Profile that I can take advantage of and create my own controller? I wouldn't mind taking the time to build a controller if it sent commands to do something directly without modifying the view of the FOH engineer. I'd call the Avid people and ask directly, but they don't seem to want to talk to anyone unless they're paid for it. Thank you all for your time, and please have a nice day.

No, there is no such protocol for Profile.

Will my gratitude be enough, or should I get the old checkbook ready?

In that case thank you very much for your quick and informative response. It's not the answer that I was hoping to hear, but all that means is I have to be more creative in finding a suitable solution. Again, thanks!

There is a guy that has made an iPad app that is functionally an optimized VNC control, but it still only allows one channel at a time be controlled, meaning if something is selected on the VNC it will select it locally on the console.

Ryan, is this what you were talking about:

https://github.com/kward/venue

This is good, but not exactly what I would I would like. I investigated the possibility controlling of the Venue remotely independantly, and there really is nothing that can be done, which is a bummer, because in order to get it done some serious decompiling and reverse engineering of the Venue software is going to have to be done (I can't imagine Avid would give out the source code of something so important to some punk physicist).

This is neat, but it does still change channels on the console end of things as well. After independently investigating the possibility of a VNC-less controller, I've come to the same conclusion: it's simply not possible. This is a bummer, because this project would require reverse engineering and patching the Venue software system, and I'm nowhere near skilled enough with disassemblers to pull something like that off. Thanks guys, your time is much appreciated.
