DAE Errors 9019 & 9073 PT6.4 LE
Hello:
I Deeply appreciate any help I can get to address my PT problems. Thank You. If appropriate feel free to email me at: [email protected] Out of the blue, after using 6.1 LE for several weeks without incident, My PC started kicking out DAE Errors 9019 & 9073. BtW, Rail Jon Rogut, helped me set this system up some years ago. He had me basically strip down the Gateway PC of unneeded hardware and gave me the PC configuration. So: 1.The errors occur when I pull up a prerecorded .pts file and hit the "Start" button. 2.The system Freezes and a few seconds later i will get the 9019 or 9073 message. Can't exit PT until after a few try's 3.Didn't add any software or make changes to my PC configuration. 4. Searched the DUC and read the trouble shooting and checked system requirements & compatibility matrix & configuration guides. Then made changes as were suggested. I believe all hardware & software to be compatible. 5. Disabled hyper-threading 6.Tested again. Same result 7. Defragged Internal C; drive 8. Defragged external Glyph drive 9.Added 2M ram, 10.Up-graded to PT 6.4LE and 6.4cS9 11. Another try, same result. 12. Loaded Sandra. received message that it would not run with XP service pack 1. So I up-graded to XP service pack 3. 13. Ran Sandra successfully. 14. Always performed the recommended restarts after any changes were made, and then opened PT. 15. Also, randomly get the "no disk in drive" error. Checked the BIOS 1st priority HDD 2nd priority DVD 3rd Priority IBA GE Slot 4th Priority Floppy drive 16. Other than PT, all programs run as expected. 17. System is NOT connected to the Internet and is NOT running any anti-virus software. Current drive stats: C:/ Internal - 149GB capacity - 25GB used. This drive has OS & programs I B/U .pts file copies here also d:/ External Glyph net drive (firewire) 115GB capacity - 6GB used this drive is where I record and save to. * MAYBE IMPORTANT: Sandra report indicates PT6.1 LE. When I open PT it indicates PT 6.4 LE. Deeply appreciate any help I can get. Thank You. Re: DAE Errors 9019 & 9073 PT6.4 LE
* Well I've got a temporary fix. Now what's my next move? I moved one of the PT Files/songs from the external D:' Glyph net drive and sent it to the C:/ internal drive. It played and everything seems to work on that one. Now, do i back-up all of the D:/ drive and reformat? Suggestions are welcomed and encouraged.

Re: DAE Errors 9019 & 9073 PT6.4 LE
I can see the crowd of company flacks rushing in to help you. They'll arrive virtually any minute (or decade) now.
Lemme spell it out: They don't care. Not one whit. They Just Don't Care. |
