Default G4/GeeThree Stealthport/MOTU Serial MIDIExpress XT - PROBLEMS!!!!

i'm having a hell of a time with this.
no one (GeeThree or MOTU) seem to know what my system problem is...

i can troubleshoot OMS' new studio set up to find my MOTU, and I can set up all my synths fine, but I am unable to send any MIDI notes to them for playback.. I can send MIDI into the G4 and record it in PT LE, but I can't hear anything played back.

FreeMidi doesn't detect anything on my modem port at all, and it's driving me bananas. I have been using this MIDI interface successfully for 2 years on my PC and have ensured all my cables have been hooked up properly.

I'd reaaaallly appreciate any input on this.
I've gone over everything a hundred times with no change.

damn. are you serious???
the thing seems to be working fine with respect to sending data from the synths to the XT and G4, but i can't get my synths to make any sound.
i've gone over everything a hundred times.
my one last hope is that there's something wrong with my serial cable that came with the XT.
i just don't know anymore. this is beyond frustrating....
i know it's not a protools problem. i can record midi notes into a pt track, but no software can play back any notes on my synths. not PT, max, or the OMS studio test mode.

I have the same configuration (G4/Stealth/XT). At me all works without problems already more one year. I think your problem in any hardware malfunction.
