Default Avid - Digidesign Baddest Psu ?

Hello ,

Recently had some "Died" on the rack ....

1 1622 i-o ,
1 888-16 i-o ,
1 888-24 i-o ,

Not at the same time ,
but at a distance of about a month
between one and the other ,
(all interfaces were purchased new)

After the first Dead ,
I did check immediately the electrical system dedicated to the rack ,
which otherwise is stabilized and filtered specifically to ensure
the best and clean electricity to the devices (analog and digital)
placed on the racks , with a good ventilation .

The test lasted 24 hours, carried out with special equipment that records computed with a graph the state of the energy flow ,

fortunately or unfortunately , no errors ,nothing strange ,

to keep in mind that the "devices" are not always in power on ,
but only when they must be used ,

anyway , after the 2° Dead ,
a few tons of profanity is unstoppably exploded.....

Another test was made , and : nothing , all regular no errors .

ok at this point called the trusted (pro audio devices) technician ,
to which I handed over the two "Dead".

After a few days later he calls me ,
he communicated that the problem
is caused by the power supply of the interfaces ,

That is not the best for this type of " devices " ,

Specially when this "devices" are sold as "Pro Audio Devices"

Each sold for thousands of dollars .

About he sent me some image .
(please check attached)

A week ago the 3° "Dead"

No words can describe the "Outburst" .

And Write here is a Must .

I HAVE NOT YET SEEN
HOW ARE THE POWER SUPPLY
OF PRO TOOLS HD / HDX I-O INTERFACES
BUT I HOPE (FOR OWNERS)
THAT THEY ARE BETTER
(EVEN IF I HAVE A SERIOUS DOUBTS ABOUT)
