001 PC Session 5.1 to Mac G5 using Panther/002
My PC brethren weren't too helpfull, maybe I'll get lucky over here!
I'll be taking a 5.1 session off my 001 to an 002 G5 panther deal, then back to my 001. Is there anything different I'll have to do on my end? Or anything we'll have to do on his end to read and pull up the session? It's been a while and I havent shared sessions with the new G5's/002/panther/6.whatever they're using over there these days....thanks. |

Re: 001 PC Session 5.1 to Mac G5 using Panther/002
Bioux,
I just converted my set-up from a 001running in OS9 to a 002R (OS X) and the process was relatively seamless. The machine prompts you saying it was a 001 file and asks if you want it opened using 002. As far as the return to the 001, I believe you can save the file in ProTools LE in the 002 system which should then run on the 001. Regards, Paul |
