External Hard Drive for Backup - Opinions?

HI all. I'm shopping for an external hard drive to use as a backup drive for all my audio sessions, as well as to backup my system drive and a bunch of other music related stuff. I figure I need a 2 TB drive to backup everything to one drive.

I currently have 2 500 GB Glyph drives - one for audio sessions & one for sound libraries. They're running on FW 400 with Mbox 2 Pro. This third drive would be daisy-chained with them. According to the techs at Glyph, this isn't a problem.

I'd like to buy the least expensive drive that could work in this situation, but I don't want to save money at the expense of headaches. The bulk of the reviews I've been reading are abysmal. So if anyone has an opinion or experience using any of these drives with PT I'd appreciate your input::

-LaCie Bigger Disk Extreme with Triple Interface 2 TB Hard Drive.($670)
-Western Digital My Book Pro II 2 TB Hard Drive. ($575)
-Fantom G-Force MegaDisk MDC2000 2TB Hard Drive. ($600)

Then there's the OWC Mercury Elite-AL Pro 2 TB drive ($830) which is a bit out of my price range. I will buy it however, if people think it's appropriate for my purposes. i just don't want to spring for OWC quality if it's not necessary for a backup drive.

Any other drives I should look at?
