unless there's a huge difference between inputs/outputs on the 003R to the 002R you can connect using D-sub cables

the Control 24 has an optical output???

No optical on the Control|24, so you would just use DSUB to 1/4" snakes to and from the 003.

Since you have mic preamps in the Control24, you could use an old ADAT machine to convert for 9-16 into Pro Tools.

I'm certainly glad to know that I haven't been overlooking the optical!!!

I use a Presonus Digimax.... some think it outdated, but works great and you can pick up for a fraction of what they sold new for

If your studio is hardwired (or using a snake) for the XLR in's use a D-sub to rout the C...|24 to a patchbay and it will make life muc easier...and you'll have the iuse of pre 9 - 16 (which IMHO are the better pres over the 002/3's

aside from buttons/features all not all working, the Control 24 is a very fine piece of gear, though it's NOT like an analog mixer... it makes mixing far superior over the mighty mouse!!!!
