Audio quality and Delay Compensation difference between Ultimate and Standard??

Hi

I am considering upgrading to Ultimate and have been comparing the features. There is the extra automation, surround sound, editing, clip processing etc.

Is there any difference in audio quality?

If you run Pro Tools Ultimate software without the HD hardware is there any advantage in ADC compared with normal Pro Tools? The Ultimate marketing blurb mentions "superior delay compensation" and the Pro Tools Reference Guide says the Delay Compensation (Pro Tools | Ultimate Software Only) however I currently have Pro Tools Standard and it has the ADC described in the guide.

No difference in audio quality

Regarding the audio quality, it's the same software, the only difference is the license you have in your ilok, right now if you insert an ilok with the authorization for Ultimate your version is going to boot as Ultimate

Only difference in delay compensation is the sidechain compensation which is only available with HDX hardware (but even that feature is not a software difference between standard/ultimate). Nobody knows why you need DSP mixer for the feature, but if they can implement it in native mixer I'm sure it will also be included in standard software.
