Re: bx_digital_v3
yep... i was just as surprised. you don't have to buy in.. and perpetual license still good... but it is an option now to have access to all of their plugs. i got a mailing a couple of days ago. i don't think subscription is gonna work for anyone except EASTWEST Composer Cloud (their **** is nice but too dang expensive) 'cos nobody wants an extra monthly bill. but this is just my opinion. cheers

Re: bx_digital_v3
To be honest, it may just work out in Flux's favour.
Considering that anyone with a Digi/SoundGrid can suddenly bolster their plugin line up with the fine tech that comes from Flux for a small monthly fee. It might even work in Wave's favour as well. I'm hoping, however, that both Flux and PA have designed their interfaces well enough to be also implemented well with the new LV1. Not that I expect everything to be oversized knobs for easy adjustment, only that the interface is clean enough and large enough to use in this type of context. I imagine most of the PA stuff would be fine, just not so sure about Flux. Their UI is actually not too bad, but they do have a lot of smaller controls and text entry fields. |
