MTRX Preamps controllable from another DAW?

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone's had any success setting up MTRX / DAD AX-32 mic preamps to be controlled from a DAW other than Pro Tools?

I'm considering adding Reaper and possibly Nuendo to the Mac Pro that's connected to our S6/MTRX. I've done a bunch of searching on this and haven't been able to dig up any info.

My recommendation would be to create a layout specific for your MTRX preamps while focused on the DADman application.

(1) Set your knob module view to Input.
(2) Set your desired meter view/size for each channel.
(3) Store the layout.

Now while back in the DAW you are using, recall that stored layout within a Spill Zone of your choice. This makes it easy to simultaneously access DAW tracks and preamp controls.
