Digidesign 192 Digital & Apogee Clocking
Hey guys,
I have a 192 digital and 4 x AD8000 units here that I’ve got connected together for 32 io on an HD10 system. They are connected as follows: 2 connected via TDIF for 16 io 2 connected via legacy port and Digi8+ card on AD8000 for 16 io Now, if i set all 4 Apogee units to their respective Ambus cards for sync, everything appears to work perfectly and I get no clocking errors. But, I feel like I should be using wordclock instead in some way but haven’t had any luck...lots of clocking errors... Can anyone tell me the recommended way to clock these 5 units together? Thanks! Re: Digidesign 192 Digital & Apogee Clocking
Daisy chain them all with BNC cables starting with your master, either the 192 or one of the Apogees, then make sure the last unit in the chain has a 75 ohm termination resistor. That should take care of it.
